Aircast® Airlift PTTD Brace

Left or Right
1 item left

  • The AirLift PTTD Brace is designed to provide support for posterior tibial tendon dysfunction (PTTD), or for early signs and symptoms of the adult acquired flat foot. Depending on the severity of the condition, it can be used to stabilize the condition and help prevent its degeneration or post-surgically and during rehabilitation.

The AirLift is designed for easy application and adjustment. The brace uses an innovative rear entry design which allows the patient to slip their foot into the back of the brace. Two straps secure the brace and can be used to adjust fit. These patient-friendly design elements make the AirLift easier to apply than custom braces, eliminate time-consuming lacing. We recommended wearing this brace with an athletic or walking shoe as the brace may be slightly bulky.

**PRO TIP: Inflate the brace only after you have put it on your foot. If you over-inflate before the brace is secure on your foot it will now allow for a proper fit.**

    1. AIRCELL TECHNOLOGY The Aircell (located under the foot) accommodates variances in arch shapes and heights to lift the foot arch for a more natural foot position. The Aircell has been tested with 2,000lbs of pressure, so it can be worn during sports and other active-related activities.

    2. EASY TO APPLY Just slide your foot in and secure the two straps.

    3. ADJUSTABLE INFLATION The Aircell inflation can be adjusted while the brace is on the foot in order to achieve the perfect comfort level.

    4. CARE Hand wash with mild detergent, rinse with tap water, and air dry

Great customer service!

The first brace I recieved was defective, could not hold air. I called and quickly was advised a replacement would be sent. Let the same day arrived three working days later.

OK but could be better

Easy to put on and does help. it does not hold the air in the bladder as desired and needs to be pumped up often

My podiatrist recommended a custom made brace fo $1400.00. By the time the brace was ready, many months later, my chronic post tibial tendonitis was healed. When my PTTD returned, I bough the brace for $50.00, and wore it with a boot since the brace is too large tofu in a shoe. Also a boot adds some ankle stability. It seems to work as well as any expensive custom made brace.

Air cast pttd brace

Brace would not stay inflated. Factory defect I believe. I owned a earlier model For years and didn’t have a problem. Trying to get a refund from Orthobracing.
