The DonJoy® IceMan Classic3 Replacement Wrap-On Pads provides a clear advantage with controlled delivery of cold therapy helping patients easily manage post-operative pain and swelling. The IceMan Classic3 cold therapy unit helps reduce pain and swelling which speeds up a rehabilitation. It provides extended cold therapy for a variety of indications and protocols as directed by a medical professional. It utilizes DonJoy’s patented semi-closed loop circulations system, which maintains consistent and accurate temperatures.

DonJoy offers a variety of different non-sterile and sterile dressings to deliver cold therapy to various parts of the body when used with one of the DonJoy IceMan® cold therapy units.


  • The shoulder wraps fits "big", meaning that most patients will find that the shoulder wrap is very loose. We recommend if you are under a 42-inch chest circumference, that you opt for the small shoulder pad. If you are at or above 42", then the shoulder pad should work fine.
  • Exact measurements of the regular shoulder pad are 14" x 23" x 12.5"
  • Exact measurements of the small shoulder pad are 12.75" x 19" x 12.25"
  • The standard hose length is 6.5 inches. The extended hose length is 15 inches. 
  • Large rectangular pad is useful for lower back surgery. Measurements are 9.76" x 13.75". 
  • Small rectangular pad is useful for wrist. 
  • Forefoot pad is excellent for bunion surgery.

        Great until it Breaks, Twice in 2 months

        I received the Iceman from the hospital where I had a total knee replacement two months ago. The Iceman is a wonderful help in recovery however I had to replace the wraparound pad less than a month post surgery and then the hose connection from the hose on the machine broke just 8 weeks post surgery so the machine is no longer usable. I did not miss use the machine or it’s attachments. I cannot recommend this product and am very disappointed in the quality of the product.

        This sounds like a warranty issue. Please email and please include pictures. We would be happy to file a warranty claim for you.

        Useful recovery tool

        A friend recommended I get an ice therapy machine for my knee replacement surgeries. I wasn't familiar with them until she mentioned it, and I'm so glad she did. I researched several models but felt the DonJoy Iceman would meet my needs. Before purchasing, I contacted Orthobracing to ask a few questions about the machine and shipping. The representative was patient and helpful.

        The Iceman is a valuable tool in recovery. The even cooling experience is much better than trying to deal with ice packs. This unit is compact and easy to use; essential for apartment living and working with multiple caregivers. I'm delighted with my purchase and interaction with the staff at Orthobracing.

        Any company can sell me a product but OrthoBracing went waaay beyond my expectations! I ordered two different Donjoy Iceman cold pads but only one was in stock. They sent one first, since I was having surgery, and would send the other when available. Problem was, it wasn’t available for a long time. OrthoBracing offered several solutions and stayed with me every step of the way to make sure I was informed, happy and medically comfortable. No other company has tracked so well with me!

        "Overnight", "Next Day Air", and "2nd Day Air" refer to BUSINESS DAYS only (Monday - Friday). Therefore, a Next-Day Air order placed on Thursday can be received on Friday. Likewise, a Next-Day Air order placed on Friday can be received on Monday. A 2nd Day Air orders placed on Thursday would arrive on Monday, whereas a 3-Day Select order would arrive on Tuesday if ordered on Thursday. If a holiday occurs during the shipping period, then the shipment will be delayed by one business day. UPS and FedEx do not move packages on holidays.

        "Next Day Air Saturday Delivery": We do not quote the cost for this service because it's not available in all areas of the country. There is a large increase in the cost to send packages for Saturday delivery.         Individual results will vary when using Cold Therapy. It is strongly suggested that you work with your healthcare provider before making any purchases of medical equipment or supplies. does not provide a warranty or guarantee that a cold therapy product will treat your condition or relieve your symptoms. All cold therapy products have a minimum 30-day warranty. 


        The almost all products sold on are available for warranty replacement, if defective. If you have a question about the return eligibility of a particular product please submit a warranty claim form.

        We reserve the right to limit multiple requests for warranty replacement on products that are deemed damaged by customer misuse, abuse, or failure to properly maintain the equipment to manufacturers' specifications.


        Please email to initiate a return or exchange to receive an RA# after verifying your purchase is eligible for exchange or refund. 


        Orders made by mistake (i.e. a left instead of a right, medium instead of a large, Breg Polar Care Cube pad vs. Breg Kodiak Pad, etc.) are eligible for an exchange if the incorrect size or item was ordered.

        All items must be in NEW condition to be exchanged (they cannot be used; plastic bag must be sealed for all cold therapy pads). There is no restocking fee but a return shipping fee will apply if is asked to send a return label.         Returns are accepted if returned within 14-days of delivery, are in NEW / UNUSED condition, are in their original packaging with documentation and the blue security tape is still 100% intact. If all conditions are met, a 25% restocking fee will apply. If not, we regretfully cannot accept it as a return. 

        Because cold therapy products come in contact with incisions after orthopedic surgery and use municipal water, we have to make the assumption that once they leave our facility they have been used. We cannot, in good faith, ship this type of merchandise to another patient and have them bear the increased risk of getting an infection. For you as a customer, we want you to know that all cold therapy products coming from our warehouse have not been used by another customer in any manner. All sales final on cold therapy products. 

        Before shipping any product back, you must first obtain an authorization number (RA#) via email at the following address: The RA# must be written on the packing slip inside the box. Do not write RA# on product boxes and do not put return label on manufacturer’s packaging. Please ship returns in a study box. will not be responsible for lost return packages. Please provide tracking numbers via email if the sender is shipping back. Otherwise, OrthoBracing will send you a return shipping label and the cost of that shipping will be deducted from the refund.
