The Wave gives cold and compression in one unit, with two compression levels, light and firm, and ice bags instead of loose ice. The Breg Polar Care Cube is cold only, with no compression.
Yes. The Large Knee pad (C00003) fits 16 to 30.5 inches around the thigh, per Breg. The standard Knee pad (C00017) fits 8 to 27 inches around.

A 2nd Day Air orders placed on Thursday would arrive on Monday, whereas a 3-Day Select order would arrive on Tuesday if ordered on Thursday. The Breg Polar Wave Cold Therapy is, by far, the best way I’ve ever found for icing an injury. It is systematic, consistent, and very easy to set up and use.
Got this 2 weeks before shoulder resurfacing surgery including labrum repair, bone spur removal and glenoid joint insert. Surgery Oct 14. I have set up the should sleve in advance and slipped it in immediately and just leave it on and ice every 40 to 60 minutes. I have used frozen water bottles but the water bags they sell last 2x longer glad I bought 8 bags. The mild compression right now on my 9 inch incision is perfect. No swelling in lower arm in sling and swelling minimal around shoulder and rotator area. Also I am not taking opiods and wont just Aleve and Tylenol. So far the steady routine icing with mild compression is amazing. This machine is incredible. 6 stars if the ratings would go that high

The Berg Polar cube is simple and easy to use. There are multiple vendors selling similar units with vary many gadgets and options, they are unnecessary, Berg keeps it simple and performs very well.
My advise is to order at least 8 bags, it makes keeping up with the cold therapy simple and quick, with no need to empty any melt water from the Berg Polar cube. It was well worth the extra cost.
this is fabulous well worthy investment easy to use the compression is absolutely worth the investment. The ice pack, save money versus filling the container with ice water.
. They provided ice packs, save money rather than filling the container containers with ice water. My Spouse had their ankle totally replaced, and this has been a big help to have and we will probably continue it to when he goes back to his job.. I plan to buy the attachments when I have my shoulder replaced. You can’t go wrong and some insurances even will pay for it.
I recently had shoulder surgery and the unit is helping in my recovery. Easy to set up and it last so much longer than using the hand held ice packs . Reduces the pain and inflammation and reduces the use of opiods. Great product.
This machine has been instrumental in my recovery from ACL surgery. It’s so easy to use and WAY more efficient than traditional ice packs. The wrap stays cold the entire time and the compression feature is super effective! It greatly reduced my swelling and helped alleviate pain the first week after my surgery. Highly recommend!
Just had ACL repair and this was recommended by the surgeon. Since the cost to buy was about the same as renting a similar device for two weeks, I decided to splurge. The cold and compression really help with pain and swelling. I can imagine using for other sore spots that come up from time to time. Glad I bought one!
