Polar Care Wave is easily transported from the hospital, physical therapy clinic or athletic training room to the patient’s home, extending the benefits of cold and compression.

Polar Care Wave is designed to reduce pain and edema to optimize patient recovery. Motorized cold therapy and compression devices, like Polar Care Wave, have also been shown to decrease narcotic use post-operatively.¹ United States Federal Law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a medical professional.

Breg Polar Care Wave Knee Cold Therapy System

I wish I purchased this item before my husband’s knee surgery. He’s 7 weeks post op, and really was doing relatively well. The swelling was the limiting factor for bending his leg. After 2 days of using the cold therapy system, the swelling was consistently down, providing improved range of motion.

Swelling is expected on and off depending on activity level for the next year to 1 1/2

My husband is 63, quite active, and healthy (no medical issues), this purchase just accelerated his rehabilitation.

My son had used the game ready machine professionals and athletes use. I googled similar products to Game ready machine and Breg came up.

Great cold therapy machine

Those machine is well built and works great. I researched a lot of machines before landing on this one and the big selling point was the compression feature. My rehab has been so much better after using this cold therapy machine.

Saved me!

The Polar Care Wave saved me after my total knee replacement. Just the right amount of compression with the cooling, which is distributed equally throughout. The machine is very easy to use. A must have for this or any surgery that would be appropriate.

Happy so far

I will be having total knee replacement surgery within the next few weeks, so purchased this after reading many reviews to help with my recovery. I'm using it now so that I can get used to it and to help with swelling on my knee before my surgery. I must say so far I love it! It is definitely helping already. Being an athlete, I'm looking much forward to getting back to my normal activities and will be purchasing some other pads for it as well to help with any discomforts that come along with exercise. I should have bought this years ago! I will have to update my opinion after my knee surgery. Also, as far as the machine itself, it is very quiet, is the perfect coldness and the compression is great! I use 4 frozen water bottles in mine and it lasts a very long time. I would recommend this product over an ice bag any day!!

Very happy with this purchase and customer service!

I did a bit of research before purchasing and was a little worried that it was the "cheaper" version of the gameready device - but the reviews were good and the price is so much less, I figured I would give it a shot. I've had it for a week and I'm six days post ACL surgery, trying to use it a few times a day for a few hours each time - the compression is really strong which I like, but I find that the "coldest" setting isn't that cold and sometimes I prefer an ice bag to get that really cold therapy on my knee.... I'm sure it's "cold enough" for what is meant to do, but that would be my only complaint - MAKE IT COLDER!. Also, I should mention that when I first set it up, it wasn't getting cold at all, so I called customer service - I was able to get a live person on the phone in about 5 minutes and she stayed on the phone with me for probably 30-45 minutes until we had the unit sorted out. Given this was my first day post surgery and I was still completely out of it from the pain meds, this was really really appreciated and some of the best customer service I've ever received (also the reason I'm leaving this review, which I would normally never do). So, I'm about six days into using this device, it's convenient, light, easy to set up, easy to use, and the combination of cold and compression is exactly what I'm looking for - hard to say whether "it's working" or not, given I'm only six days post surgery and still have a lot of discomfort and swelling, and also hard to say how it compares to other devices as this is the only one I'ver ever used - BUT, I am very happy with my purchase so far and would recommend it without any question - just for the customer service alone. So that's it, would be five stars if it got a little bit colder, but that's my only "minor" complaint. and by the way, if you are reading these reviews, that means you probably had some kind of injury, so for that I'm truly very sorry and good luck with your recovery!

A 2nd Day Air orders placed on Thursday would arrive on Monday, whereas a 3-Day Select order would arrive on Tuesday if ordered on Thursday. "Next Day Air Saturday Delivery": We do not quote the cost for this service because it's not available in all areas of the country. IMPORTANT

Individual results will vary when using Cold Therapy. It is strongly suggested that you work with your healthcare provider before making any purchases of medical equipment or supplies. OrthoBracing.com does not provide a warranty or guarantee that a cold therapy product will treat your condition or relieve your symptoms. All cold therapy products have a minimum 30-day warranty. 

WARRANTY

The almost all products sold on OrthoBracing.com are available for warranty replacement, if defective. If you have a question about the return eligibility of a particular product please submit a warranty claim form.

We reserve the right to limit multiple requests for warranty replacement on products that are deemed damaged by customer misuse, abuse, or failure to properly maintain the equipment to manufacturers' specifications.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

Please email returns@orthobracing.com to initiate a return or exchange to receive an RA# after verifying your purchase is eligible for exchange or refund. 

EXCHANGES

Orders made by mistake (i.e. a left instead of a right, medium instead of a large, Breg Polar Care Cube pad vs. Breg Kodiak Pad, etc.) are eligible for an exchange if the incorrect size or item was ordered.

All items must be in NEW condition to be exchanged (they cannot be used; plastic bag must be sealed for all cold therapy pads). There is no restocking fee but a return shipping fee will apply if OrthoBracing.com is asked to send a return label. Before shipping any product back, you must first obtain an authorization number (RA#) via email at the following address: CS@OrthoBracing.com.

RETURNS

Returns are accepted if returned within 14-days of delivery, are in NEW / UNUSED condition, are in their original packaging with documentation and the blue security tape is still 100% intact. If all conditions are met, a 25% restocking fee will apply. If not, we regretfully cannot accept it as a return. 

Because cold therapy products come in contact with incisions after orthopedic surgery and use municipal water, we have to make the assumption that once they leave our facility they have been used. We cannot, in good faith, ship this type of merchandise to another patient and have them bear the increased risk of getting an infection. For you as a customer, we want you to know that all cold therapy products coming from our warehouse have not been used by another customer in any manner. All sales final on cold therapy products. 

Before shipping any product back, you must first obtain an authorization number (RA#) via email at the following address: returns@OrthoBracing.com. The RA# must be written on the packing slip inside the box. Do not write RA# on product boxes and do not put return label on manufacturer’s packaging. Please ship returns in a study box.

OrthoBracing.com will not be responsible for lost return packages. Please provide tracking numbers via email if the sender is shipping back. Otherwise, OrthoBracing will send you a return shipping label and the cost of that shipping will be deducted from the refund. 

Do not refuse the delivery of your order. Refunds will not be issued for refused shipments.
